This foothills series was taken in April of last year (2013) while on a trip to Munich, Germany. My high school students had won the Swedish nationals of the European Youth Parliament, and guess who got to go with them to the international session? I met a number of great, internationally minded teachers during that trip. While the students were in the midst of the hard work of committee building and debate preparations, we teachers made an excursion into the foothill of the Bavarian Alps to see Neuschwanstein Castle. I took pictures of that too, but what impressed me the most, and which I actually made an effort to process, was the Alpine foothills. All images in the series are taken on my old Galaxy S3 and edited using Snapseed.
