We aren’t talking about editing images here. This time it’s a band my wife and I got to see last evening at Bern’s club in Stockholm. The Editors are an English rock band from Birmingham, with an indie/post-punk revival sound maybe comparable to Franz Ferdinand, or hints of a heavy Joy Division. They are touring their latest album Violence, which has become quite popular in this household. The album is good, and they performed well over expectations.
You can listen to them here.
I’ve been to Bern’s club before, when we saw Moneybrother perform in 2012 or so. I shot with my Galaxy S3 then, so I can’t say it could handle the light so well. My Huawei P9 sailed in these difficult and quickly changing lighting conditions, with an easily adjustable pro camera.
I’ve edited twelve images, two of which are the beautiful Bern’s chandeliers, and ten of the band in various scenes and songs. From where we stood I mostly caught the singer Tom Smith, but managed to get a couple shots of the other members as well. All images were edited in Snapseed.
